Terms of service

Last updated: [date]

These terms apply when you use the Roamlet app, website and services. They are a contract between you and BC Cloud [company number, registered address] (“we”, “us”). Please read them before buying an eSIM.

1. What we provide

We sell prepaid mobile data plans delivered as eSIM profiles, supplied through our network partners. Plans give you a set amount of data (or daily allowance) for a set period in the countries listed for that plan. Coverage and speeds depend on local networks and aren’t guaranteed everywhere.

2. Your phone

  • You need an eSIM-compatible device that isn’t locked to a mobile network. Check compatibility before buying.
  • An eSIM can usually only be installed once. Don’t delete it from your phone until you no longer need it.
  • Plans are for data. Calls and SMS are only included where a plan says so.

3. Buying a plan

  • Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Your eSIM is delivered in the app after payment. If we can’t deliver it, we’ll refund you in full.
  • Validity starts as described on the plan (for example, when the eSIM is installed or first connects to a network).
  • Promo and referral codes are subject to their own conditions and can’t be exchanged for cash.

4. Cancellations and refunds

[Review with your solicitor, including your obligations under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital content and services.] If your eSIM hasn’t been installed, you can ask for a refund through the app or by emailing support@roamlet.co.uk. Once an eSIM has been installed or used, we can’t normally refund it, but contact us if you had a technical problem and we’ll help. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

5. Fair and lawful use

Don’t use the service for anything unlawful, to resell data, or in a way that harms the network or other users. Some plans have fair-use limits, shown on the plan. We may suspend service if these terms are breached.

6. Your account

Keep your login details secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Privacy & data). We may close accounts used fraudulently.

7. Our liability

We’re responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. We aren’t liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable, for issues caused by your device or its settings, or for local network outages outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version shown when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. [Confirm jurisdiction.]
